Harbor Ministries Life Training & Recovery Center
Our mission is to help men who are homeless, addicted to drugs or alcohol, coming out of jails and prisons or men who just need a fresh start in their lifes.
The purpose of The Harbor Ministries Life Training Center is to help men who have life controlling problems, first see, then with God’s help; permanently overcome any of those life long problems.
We believe that all of society’s ills could be eradicated, if men would take their rightful place in society. Men should take the responsibility of providing for themselves, and their families. Men should also learn to guard, to guide, and to govern in a humble, Christ like way; at home, at work, and in the church.

Our Thrift Store
Our Thrift Store operation serves several functions.
One, it is the main source of our total income. The Harbor is self supported in that we do not receive any government money. Our services are free of charge to individuals seeking help. We do not rely on grants, churches or other organizations to fund our charitable work.
Second the Thrift Store is part of our vocational training program. Students are trained in every aspect of the day to day operation of the store teaching them the importance of hard work and dependability that will bring them success in the future.
Third we allow affordable solutions to the needs of many in our community. Our clothing, housewares, appliances and furniture are top quality and offered at excellent low prices to the public. With daily discounts to seniors ,veterans and first responders. New items daily, tag sales, big bargains and a large eclectic selection make The Harbor Thrift Store an exciting and worthwhile place to shop.
